The main character in Final Fantasy VII. Originally a member of SOLDIER, he is now a mercenary who will take any job. After being hired by AVALANCHE, he gradually gets caught up in a missive struggle for the life of the planet. His enormous sword can cut almost anything in two.

A mercenary who once was an elite soldier in the employ of Shinra Company. On his own, he roamed the land, finding work as he went and eventually being hired by Avalanche, the rebel organization against Shinra's rule. Although reluctant to become involved, Cloud soon becomes embroiled in a desperate battle for the preservation of the planet. His oversized double handed sword is used to cleave enemies with brute force.

Nick Carter of Backstreet Boys has been know to be a huge fan of video games. One of his favorites being Final Fantasy, and his favorite charecter being Cloud Strife.
